  1. Unity J (KT 7.5.3 release 2)

  3. Unity J (KT 7.5.3 release 2) is the Japanese localized version of Unity,
  4. (the reference release system software which will be available in 
  5. Japan in September '96).
  6.  
  7. About Unity J (KT 7.5.3 release 2)
  8.  
  9. 1) Unity J supports 68030 or above. 16MB or more memory configration 
  10. is recommended.
  11.  
  12. 2) Unity J includes Buster bug fixes, but not Son of Buster bug fixes.
  13.  
  14. 3) Unity J is the first Japanese version of system software to include
  15. OpenTransport for 68K. The version of OpenTransport is 1.1, not
  16. 1.1.1. 
  17.  
  18. 4) Apple provides the KT7.5 Updater, which will update KanjiTalk 7.5,
  19. 7.5.1, and 7.5.2 to KanjiTalk 7.5.3.   The KT7.5 Updater is a subset of Unity J.  
  20. The differences between Unity J and the KT7.5 Updater are:

  22.    i) The KT7.5 Updater only supports override install on KajiTalk 7.5, 7.5.1, 
  23.       and 7.5.2. The KT7.5 Updater doesn't support Custom Install.

  25.   ii) The KT7.5 updater does not include any fonts.

  43. If you find any bugs (excluding known bugs on the English version of Unity and bugs that are not reproducable), please let us know. The Installer script has changed, so bug reports on Unity J installation are also welcome.
